Universal Dead web series to become a feature film?

A while back I wrote a review of the zombie web series Universal Dead. I found it satisfactory, but apparently, it may return...on the big screen! Based on a post on their Official blog.

"We had to make way for what comes next, starting with the 3D transmedia series, Universal Dead: Prophecy. Here is where we will tell the story of the post zombie apocalypse world and what the actual last night of civilization was like for our main characters. This prequel series will be released as an episode per month during the course of 2011, leading up to the theatrical release of the feature film Universal Dead (a 3D feature) late next year."

I can't say I'm shaking with excitement, but it's good to know that new zombie films are on the horizon!
